Olivier Cattaneo, is a Senior Trade Specialist with the World Bank, in charge of the Global Trade and Financial Architecture project. His previous experience includes work with a range of international organizations (UN, WTO, and OECD) and French administrations (parliament, ministries of Labor and Health, and development agency). He also taught in a number of institutions, including SciencesPo Paris and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He is the author of several books and articles on international trade and development.

A New York Attorney and Counselor at Law, he holds a Ph.D. in International Law from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, and received degrees from the Georgetown University Law Center and SciencesPo Paris. He was a World Fellow at Yale University, an IIEL Fellow at Georgetown University, and a SYLFF Fellow at the Graduate Institute.
