Louisa Chan Boegli, a medical doctor with an MS in Community Medicine, comes from an international development background with ten years field experience with the World Health Organization and the International Red Cross in countries such as Afghanistan, Angola, Congo, Cambodia and Indonesia.

Dr. Chan Boegli began working with multinational companies in 1998 as facilitator of dialogue between companies and NGOs. Her work in this area and in conflict resolution led to assignments in crisis situations with operations and project teams. Her services have focused on achieving long term solutions to conflicts between companies and communities by building client systems and capacity for risk and stakeholder management. Working directly with business leaders and operations staff, she has advised on both local and global social issues such as revenue transparency, indigenous people/land rights, and poverty alleviation. She has also helped project teams meet the social performance requirements of international financial institutions.

Dr. Chan Boegli speaks Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese, French and English, and has a working knowledge of Indonesian
